DAS campaigns
Diversified Authority Stack — the one-time anchor pillow + entity trigger.
On this page
DAS = Diversified Authority Stack. A NEO campaign that builds a "pillow" of varied generic-anchor backlinks so later targeted anchor work doesn't look manipulative — and that triggers brand-entity recognition.
When to run
Once per brand, at onboarding. Do not repeat. A single DAS run takes 1–2 weeks on a good machine.
How
DAS to the money site
- NEO → Wizards → DAS (or a Zero-to-Hero variant).
- Target URLs: homepage + about + contact + main category/service pages.
- Run. Plan for 1–2 weeks; don't interrupt the machine.
DAS to each social profile
- New DAS campaign per social URL (Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest).
- Run sequentially (or parallel if the hardware allows).
Why the socials matter: the path to the knowledge graph is — take over page 1 of search for the brand name with your social profiles + third-party properties → Google starts treating you as an entity → knowledge graph triggers. "If you can't search your brand and get a knowledge graph, work on your social ring."
Cadence
Once per property, period. Even if the knowledge graph never fully triggers, you want Google to recognize the brand as an entity; the map + everything else clicks in after that.
DAS as the exact-match pillow
When you link-build to exact-match domains, Google is sensitive (not hostile) to exact-match anchors. DAS is what pillows them — use a lot of generic/branded anchors so the exact-match ones don't stand out. See Network safety → Exact-match domains.
Relationship to other tools
- Zero to Hero runs lots of DAS + Delaus + Hercules together for a brand-new client kickoff.
- Anchor text system explains why the pillow matters before targeted RD100 anchors.
- DAS handles the generic plain-URL anchor layer, so in cloud-template runs you delete those generic nodes — don't repeat the pillow.
What Joshua got wrong before
Had socials but wasn't posting and wasn't running DAS to them. Building links TO the socials (not just creating them) is what triggers entity recognition.
